Colossians 3:15

The peace of Christ (h eirhnh tou Xristou). The peace that Christ gives (John 14:27).

Rule (brabeuetw). Imperative active third singular of brabeuw, to act as umpire (brabeuv), old verb, here alone in N.T. See I Corinthians 7:15 for called in peace.

In one body (en eni swmati). With one Head (Christ) as in Colossians 1:18, Colossians 1:24.

Be ye thankful (euxaristoi ginesqe). "Keep on becoming thankful." Continuous obligation.
