2 Timothy 2:23

Ignorant (apaideutouv). Old verbal, here only in N.T. (a privative and paideuw). Untrained, uneducated, "speculations of a half-educated mind" (Parry).

Refuse (paraitou). See I Timothy 4:7.

They gender strifes (gennwsin maxav). Present active indicative of old and common verb gennaw (Romans 9:11). "They beget battles." See II Timothy 2:14.
