Titus 3:14

Our people (oi hmeteroi). "Our folks." The Cretan converts, not just Paul's friends.

Let learn (manqanetwsan). Present active imperative, keep on learning how.

To maintain (pro‹stasqai). See verse Titus 3:8.

For necessary uses (eiv anagkaiav xreiav). "For necessary wants." No idlers wanted. See I Thessalonians 4:12; II Thessalonians 3:10 f.

Unfruitful (akarpoi). See I Corinthians 14:14; Ephesians 5:11.
