Hebrews 10:16

14 For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being¹ sanctified.

15 But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,

16 ^a“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,”

17 then He adds, ^a“Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

18 Now where there is¹ remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

19 Therefore, brethren, having ^aboldness to enter ^bthe Holiest by the blood of Jesus,

Hebrews 10:11-17

It just took one and then all of those other offerings became unnecessary. Because the one perfect sacrifice was made. So the author makes sure we understand here that His sacrifice is redeeming, a payment for cleansing or clearing sin, forgiving it, and also bearing it away or putting away or removing sin.
