I Peter 3:17 For [it is] better, if the will of God is so. If God wills that we should suffer, for the Father sometimes chasteneth children (Hebrews 12:6). It is better to suffer for well doing, than for evil doing, for righteousness, than for evil. See II Timothy 3:12.
