This voice (tauthn thn fwnhn). The one referred to in verse II Peter 1:17.
We heard (hkousamen). First aorist active indicative of akouw, a definite experience of Peter.
Brought (enexqeisan). "Borne" as in verse II Peter 1:17.
When we were with him (sun autw ontev). Present active participle of eimi, "being with him."
In the holy mount (en tw agiw orei). Made holy by the majestic glory. See Ezekiel 28:14 for "holy mount of God," there Sinai, this one probably one of the lower slopes of Hermon. Peter's account is independent of the Synoptic narrative, but agrees with it in all essentials.
