Genesis 41:56
Excerpted from: Famine (Part 1): The Beginning of SorrowsIt is said in Genesis 41:56 that "the famine was all over the face of the earth." This was not a local famine as many, if not most, are; but it was far-reaching and very extensive. "All countries came into Egypt to buy corn."If all of the countries surrounding Egypt came to buy corn, they must have put away a lot of corn over those seven years. They had enough for their own nation as well as many other nations.
