Psalms 10:2
Literally, "In pride of the wicked they (the poor or humble, Psalms 10:17; Psalms 12:5) shall be taken in the devices they (the proud) have imagined."
A Song of Confidence in God’s Triumph over Evil
2 The wicked in his pride1 persecutes the poor;
aLet them be caught in the plots which they have devised.
aLet them be caught in the plots which they have devised.
5 His ways1 are always prospering;
Your judgments are far above, out of his sight;
As for all his enemies, he sneers at them.
Your judgments are far above, out of his sight;
As for all his enemies, he sneers at them.
