Psalms 69:32
Compare all
30 aI will praise the name of God with a song,
And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
31 aThis also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bull,
Which has horns and hooves.
32 aThe humble shall see this and be glad;
And you who seek God, byour hearts shall live.
33 For the Lord hears the poor,
And does not despise aHis prisoners.
34 aLet heaven and earth praise Him,
The seas band everything that moves in them.
35 aFor God will save Zion
And build the cities of Judah,
That they may dwell there and possess it.

Psalms 69:32

The humble shall see this, and be glad - Margin, "The meek." That is, Others who are thus afflicted - the poor, the needy, the oppressed, the sad - shall be made acquainted with what has been done in my behalf, and shall take courage, or be strengthened. They will learn to trust that God will also interpose in "their" troubles, and bring them out of "their" distresses.

And your heart shall live that seek God - Shall be revived; shall be encouraged, strengthened, animated.
