1 O God, the1 nations have come into aYour inheritance;
Your holy temple they have defiled;
bThey have laid Jerusalem1 in heaps.

2 aThe dead bodies of Your servants
They have given as food for the birds of the heavens,
The flesh of Your saints to the beasts of the earth.

6 aPour out Your wrath on the1 nations that bdo not know You,
And on the kingdoms that cdo not call on Your name.

8 aOh, do not remember1 former iniquities against us!

For we have been brought very low.

“Where is their God?”
