Psalms 109:28
Let them curse, but bless thou - See on Psalms 109:20 (note): Of the mode of interpretation recommended there, this verse gives additional proof.
28 aLet them curse, but You bless;
When they arise, let them be ashamed,
But let bYour servant rejoice.
When they arise, let them be ashamed,
But let bYour servant rejoice.
29 aLet my accusers be clothed with shame,
And let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle.
And let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle.
31 For aHe shall stand at the right hand of the poor,
To save him from those1 who condemn him.
To save him from those1 who condemn him.
