Also houses, and seize them.
So they oppress a man and his house,
A man and his inheritance.
“Behold, against this afamily I am devising bdisaster,
From which you cannot remove your necks;
Nor shall you walk haughtily,
For this is an evil time.
And alament with a bitter lamentation, saying:
‘We are utterly destroyed!
He has changed the1 heritage of my people;
How He has removed it from me!
To1 a turncoat He has divided our fields.’ ”
Lying Prophets
So they shall not prophesy1 to you;
1They shall not return insult for insult.
“Is the Spirit of the Lord restricted?
Are these His doings?
Do not My words do good
To him who walks uprightly?
You pull off the robe with the garment
From those who trust you, as they pass by,
Like men returned from war.
From their pleasant houses;
From their children
You have taken away My glory forever.

Micah 2:4
A parable - A taunting proverb. And lament - Your friends for you, and you for yourselves. He - God. Portion - Their wealth, plenty, freedom, joy and honour, into poverty, famine, servitude, grief and dishonour. How - How dreadfully hath God dealt with Israel; removing their persons into captivity, and transferring their possession to their enemies? Turning away - Turning away from us in displeasure. God hath divided our fields among others.
