The Lord’s Reign in Zion
That the mountain of the Lord’s house
Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
And shall be exalted above the hills;
And peoples shall flow to it.
“Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
To the house of the God of Jacob;
He will teach us His ways,
And we shall walk in His paths.”
For out of Zion the law shall go forth,
And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
And rebuke strong nations afar off;
They shall beat their swords into aplowshares,
And their spears into1 pruning hooks;
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
bNeither shall they learn war anymore.
And no one shall make them afraid;
For the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken.
But awe will walk in the name of the Lord our God
Forever and ever.

What Does Micah 4:1 Mean?
Micah 4:1-2
This passage shows that Jesus Christ will dwell on earth in Jerusalem, accessible to physical people and nations—not in heaven!

Is Heaven the Reward of the Saved?
Micah 4:1-3
Beginning with Israel, God will take a much more direct and visible role in governing the nations. Representatives of nations will flow to Jerusalem to learn God's ways. They must begin at ground zero and prepare their lives to reflect the image of God, just as we have had to do. That these people come to God is an acknowledgment that they and their forefathers had made a mess of things before Christ returned, and now they want to learn from God and His people how to do things properly.

In the latter days, as foretold in Micah 4:1, the mountain of the LORD's house will be established above all, drawing peoples to it. Nations will send representatives to Jerusalem to learn God's ways, starting anew to reflect His image. This movement signifies an admission that past ways led to ruin before Christ's return, prompting a desire to learn from God and His people how to live rightly. Christ will dwell on earth in Jerusalem, accessible to physical nations, emphasizing a direct and visible divine governance over all.
