The Coming King
Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, byour King is coming to you;
He is just and having salvation,
Lowly and riding on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.
And the horse from Jerusalem;
The bbattle bow shall be cut off.
He shall speak peace to the nations;
His dominion shall be c‘from sea to sea,
And from the River to the ends of the earth.’
God Will Save His People
Because of the blood of your covenant,
I will set your aprisoners free from the waterless pit.
aYou prisoners of hope.
Even today I declare
That I will restore bdouble to you.
Fitted the bow with Ephraim,
And raised up your sons, O Zion,
Against your sons, O Greece,
And made you like the sword of a mighty man.”
And aHis arrow will go forth like lightning.
The Lord God will blow the trumpet,
And go bwith whirlwinds from the south.

Zechariah 9:11
As for thee also (Jerusalem) by the blood of thy covenant - The covenant made with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the Israelites in general, and ratified by the blood of many victims; until the time should come in which the Messiah should shed his blood, as typified by the ancient sacrifices.
I have sent forth thy prisoners - Those who were under the arrest of God' s judgments; the human race, fast bound in sin and misery, and who by the pitifulness of his tender mercy were loosed, he dying in their stead.
