Do Not Rob God

8 “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’
aIn tithes and offerings.
9 You are cursed with a curse,
For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.
10 aBring all the tithes into the bstorehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the cwindows of heaven
And dpour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.
11 “And I will rebuke athe devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says the Lord of hosts;
12 “And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be aa delightful land,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

The People Complain Harshly

Malachi 3:10-12

Now God, the perfect Parent, wants to bless us, if only we will fear Him and do what He tells us to do. Notice how in verse 11, God says He will protect the fruit of the ground, and the vine will bear fruit. If we do what He says regarding tithing similar to the years of release, He will take care of all our needs.
