Exodus 33:3
Excerpted from: Acts (Part Nine)He is saying that they will not bow their head in humility. It is as if a teacher is teaching somebody and the student is standing there with his jaw set, with his neck set, and you can tell by the look in his eyes that he is rejecting everything you say. Now if a student is hearing sometimes they will even cock their head so that they can hear better. The Israelites would not do that. Their neck was too stiff for them to move it in order to hear better or to bow it in humility and listen.
