Luke 23:42
Luke 23:42 Lord, remember me. This prayer indicates faith in Jesus as the Christ, a faith that overcomes the cross, and sees Jesus a victor over death, in his kingdom. Such faith was mighty to save.
40 But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done anothing wrong.”
42 Then he said1 to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
Jesus Dies on the Cross
44 aNow it1 was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
45 Then the sun was1 darkened, and athe veil of the temple was torn in2 two.
