John 12:24

23 But Jesus answered them, saying, ^a“The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.

24 Most assuredly, I say to you, ^aunless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much¹ grain.

25 ^aHe who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.

26 If anyone serves Me, let him ^afollow Me; and ^bwhere I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

John 12:24

We see that Jesus Christ and God the Father do not want to be alone. They want us with Them. This is why the Father had Jesus give His life. He gave His only begotten Son for us! He sacrificed His Son for us! He gave everything for us and He set this example for us to imitate—to follow.
