Romans 11:34

32 For God has¹ committed them ^aall to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.

33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

34 “For who has known the ^amind of the Lord?
Or ^bwho has become His counselor?”

35 “Or^a who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”

36 For ^aof Him and through Him and to Him are all things, ^bto whom be glory forever. Amen.

Who hath known? (tiv egnw). Second aorist active indicative of ginwskw, a timeless aorist, did know, does know, will know. Quotation from Isaiah 40:13. Quoted already in I Corinthians 2:16.

Counsellor (sumboulov). Old word from sun and boulh. Only here in N.T.

His (autou). Objective genitive, counsellor to him (God). Some men seem to feel competent for the job.
