1 Corinthians 3:6
Compare all
4 For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?

Watering, Working, Warning

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but aministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?
6 aI planted, bApollos watered, cbut God gave the increase.
7 So then aneither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, aand each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 For awe are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are bGod’s building.
10 aAccording to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid bthe foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it.
11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than athat which is laid, bwhich is Jesus Christ.

I Corinthians 3:6-9

What we begin to see out of the book of I Corinthians is that there is an individuality in our relationship to God, but also there is individual responsibility of every person to the Body. Our faithfulness, and loyalty, and obedience to God go first of all up to Him; but we cannot leave out the duty—the responsibility—that that faithfulness and loyalty goes out to everybody else as well. It goes to your mate, the rest of the family, church of God.
