Thessalonians 5:9
I Thessalonians 5:9 God hath not appointed us to wrath. Hence it is our privilege to hope for salvation through Christ.
For athose who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk bare drunk at night.
But let us who are of the day be sober, aputting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.
For aGod did not appoint us to wrath, bbut to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
awho died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
Therefore1 comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
Various Exhortations
And we urge you, brethren, ato recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and1 admonish you,
and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. aBe at peace among yourselves.
