4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and abe turned aside to fables.  
5 But you be watchful in all things, aendure afflictions, do the work of ban evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

8 Finally, there is laid up for me athe crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous bJudge, will give to me con that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

2 Timothy 4:5

Watch - An earnest, constant, persevering exercise. The scripture watching, or waiting, implies steadfast faith, patient hope, labouring love, unceasing prayer; yea, the mighty exertion of all the affections of the soul that a man is capable of. In all things - Whatever you are doing, yet in that, and in all things, watch. Do the work of an evangelist - Which was next to that of an apostle.
