Hebrews 5:13

11 of whom ^awe have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become ^bdull of hearing.

Spiritual Immaturity

12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the¹ oracles of God; and you have come to need ^amilk and not solid food.

13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is ^aa babe.

14 But solid food belongs to those who are¹ of full age, that is, those who by reason of² use have their senses exercised ^ato discern both good and evil.

Every one that useth milk - That neither desires, nor can digest, anything else: otherwise strong men use milk; but not milk chiefly, and much less that only. Is unexperienced in the word of righteousness - The sublimer truths of the gospel. Such are all who desire and can digest nothing but the doctrine of justification and imputed righteousness.
