James 1:21
The Holy Spirit enables us to produce meekness, a necessary attitude for understanding God's Word. An added benefit to the meek is that God promises them the enjoyment of peace. A meek and quiet spirit is so very precious to God that he calls it an imperishable ornament, and He rewards the meek with inheritance of the earth.

Meekness

The Holy Spirit enables meekness, a necessary attitude for understanding God's Word, and God rewards the meek with peace, an imperishable ornament, and inheritance of the earth. The implanted word carries a double meaning: Jesus Christ living within us, and the revealed Word of God, the Bible, guiding us. Both, together with the Holy Spirit, provide the tools to live the life of Christ and have His mind. Cleansed through Christ's blood, one must not merely sit on revelation but be a doer, acting and moving forward toward the Kingdom, always growing in righteousness through knowledge, understanding, and wisdom from God's Word. This unleavened life is two-pronged: helping others in agape love, and keeping oneself unspotted from the world's sins.
