Revelation 2:28

26 And he who overcomes, and keeps ^aMy works until the end, ^bto him I will give power over the nations—

27 ‘He^a shall rule them with a rod of iron;
They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’— as I also have received from My Father;

28 and I will give him ^athe morning star.

29 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” ’

As I also have received (wv kagw eilhfa). Perfect active indicative of lambanw. Christ still possesses the power from the Father (Acts 2:33; Psalms 2:7).

The morning star (ton astera ton prwnon). "The star the morning one." In Revelation 22:16 Christ is the bright morning star. The victor will have Christ himself.
