Articles, Bible studies, and sermons that contain Leviticus 20:10:
Leviticus 20:10
Excerpted from: Jesus and the Feast (Part Three): Light of the WorldBut Leviticus 20:10 and Deuteronomy 22:22-24 reads very clearly that the law required her death. Israel was ordered to stone such sinners and to these Jews, they saw it as an open and shut case. It was a winning case for them. They could not see how Jesus was going to wiggle out of this one. He would have to commit. You would either have to commit one way or the other. So they thought they had cornered Him into a no-win situation. If He disregarded the law that is back there in Leviticus 20:10 and Deuteronomy 22, it would undermine His credibility by appearing, then, to be a lawless person, that He was not going according to the law. And at that time, there were laws on the books that He could be charged in the courts for being an anarchist.
