5 and aone-tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a bgrain offering mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil.

8 The other lamb you shall offer in the evening; as the morning grain offering and its drink offering, you shall offer it as an offering made by fire, a1 sweet aroma to the Lord.
Sabbath Offerings
9 ‘And on the Sabbath day two lambs in their first year, without blemish, and two-tenths ofanephah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, with its drink offering—
10thisisathe burnt offering for every Sabbath, besides the regular burnt offering with its drink offering.
The daily offering had been already commanded Exodus 29:38, and no doubt additional offerings had become customary on festivals. But no such elaborate system as is here prescribed was or could possibly have been observed in the wilderness: compare Deuteronomy 12:8-9. The regulations of this and the next chapter therefore point to the immediate prospect of that settlement in Canaan which alone could enable the Israelites to obey them. Compare the ordinances in Num. 15.
