The meaning of Coronation in the Bible
(From International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)kor-o-na'-shun (protoklisia): Occurs in 2 Macc 4:21 (the King James Version, the Revised Version (British and American) "enthronement") where Apollonius was sent into Egypt for the coronation of Ptolemy Philometor as king. The Greek word protoklisia occurs nowhere else, and its meaning is uncertain. The reading in Swete is protoklesia, and this means "the first call."
