The meaning of Isshiah in the Bible
(From International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)

is-shi'-a (yishshiyahu, "Yah exists"; the King James Version Ishiah):

(1) Mentioned among David's heroes, a greatgrandson of Tola (I Chronicles 7:3).

(2) Mentioned among the men who came to David at Ziklag (I Chronicles 12:6; the King James Version "Jesiah").

(3) A member of the priesthood of the house of Rehabiah (I Chronicles 24:21; the King James Version "Jesiah").

(4) Another Levitical priest of the house of Uzziel (I Chronicles 23:20; I Chronicles 24:25).
