The meaning of Salemas in the Bible

sal'-e-mas, sa-le'-mas (Latin Salame; the King James Version Sadamias): An ancestor of Ezra (2 Esdras 1:1) = "Shallum" in Ezra 7:2; called also "Salem" in 1 Esdras 8:1.
