The meaning of Dodo in the Bible
(From Easton's Bible Dictionary)

amatory; loving.

  • A descendant of Issachar (Judges 10:1).

  • An Ahohite, father of Eleazar, who was one of David's three heroes (II Samuel 23:9; I Chronicles 11:12). He was the same with Dodai mentioned in I Chronicles 27:4.

  • A Bethlehemite, and father of Elhanan, who was one of David's thirty heroes (II Samuel 23:24).
