The meaning of Achbor in the Bible
(From Easton's Bible Dictionary)

gnawing = mouse.

  • An Edomitish king (Genesis 36:38; I Chronicles 1:49).

  • One of Josiah's officers sent to the prophetess Huldah to inquire regarding the newly-discovered book of the law (II Kings 22:12,14). He is also called Abdon (II Chronicles 34:20).
