The meaning of Concupiscence in the Bible
(From Easton's Bible Dictionary)desire, Romans 7:8 (RSV, "coveting"); Colossians 3:5 (RSV, "desire"). The "lust of concupiscence" (I Thessalonians 4:5; RSV, "passion of lust") denotes evil desire, indwelling sin.
