What the Bible says about Acceptance of God's Judgments
(From Forerunner Commentary)

Ezekiel 16:47

We do not like to think of Israel in this kind of terminology, but God judges fairly. God judges without prejudice. He sees things exactly as they are, and He says we, modern-day Israel, are worse than Sodom ever was. Let that sink in. If we think that we are living in a beautiful civilization or culture, we had better think again, because the way God looks at it, we are living during a time and in a culture that is worse than Sodom ever was.

Habakkuk 2:20

This is a very interesting way to conclude these five judgments. It reveals the proper attitude that we should have when God speaks. Perhaps, too, it was a little correction for Habakkuk. God seems to be saying, "There is no need to doubt Me, Habakkuk. I am still on My throne as the judge of all nations. Everyone will eventually submit to Me. Right now, you need to deal with the fact that Judah needs to be punished, and I will do it the way that is best. So keep silent when I make My decrees."
