Romans 13:14

But ye on (endusasqe). The same metaphor as in verse Romans 13:12. The Lord Jesus Christ is the garment that we all need. See Galatians 3:27 with baptism as the symbol.

Provision (pronoian). Old word for forethought (from pronoov). In N.T. only here and Acts 24:2.

For the flesh (thv sarkov). Objective genitive.

To fulfil the lusts thereof (eiv epiqumiav). "For lusts." No verb.
