8 aBut now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.  
9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,
10 and have put on the new man who ais renewed in knowledge baccording to the image of Him who ccreated him,  
11 where there is neither aGreek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, bbut Christ is all and in all.

12 Therefore, aas the elect of God, holy and beloved, bput on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering;  
13 abearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.  
14 aBut above all these things bput on love, which is the cbond of perfection.  
15 And let athe peace of God rule in your hearts, bto which also you were called cin one body; and dbe thankful.  
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another ain psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  
17 And awhatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Colossians 3:10

And have put on (kai endusamenoi). First aorist middle participle (in causal sense as before) of endunw, old and common verb (Latin induo, English endue) for putting on a garment. Used of putting on Christ (Galatians 3:27; Romans 13:14).

The new man (ton neon). "The new (young as opposed to old palaion) man" (though anqrwpon is not here expressed, but understood from the preceding phrase). In Ephesians 4:24 Paul has endusasqai ton kainon (fresh as opposed to worn out) anqrwpon.

Which is being renewed (ton anakainoumenon). Present passive articular participle of anakainow. Paul apparently coined this word on the analogy of ananeomai. Anakainizw already existed (Hebrews 6:6). Paul also uses anakainwsiv (Romans 12:2; Titus 3:5) found nowhere before him. By this word Paul adds the meaning of kainov to that of neov just before. It is a continual refreshment (kainov) of the new (neov, young) man in Christ Jesus.

Unto knowledge (eiv epignwsin). "Unto full (additional) knowledge," one of the keywords in this Epistle.

After the image (kat eikona). An allusion to Genesis 1:26, Genesis 1:28. The restoration of the image of God in us is gradual and progressive (II Corinthians 3:18), but will be complete in the final result (Romans 8:29; I John 3:2).
